"Far From Home" is a collection of original settings of traditional Irish tunes on solo piano. It is truly conceived on the Album model, in which I believe strongly—not simply a collection of separate pieces but a unified whole in which the tracks flow from one to the next in a carefully considered, deliberate fashion.

As such, I hope that those who prefer download only to physical CD will consider buying the entire album and listening to it at least in large chunks. It may not be "Sgt. Pepper's," but it does strive for a certain continuity, and it even includes a reprise!

On this album, I am the only performer, and the Steinway piano is the only instrument.
